Americans Want Polish Design! Deftrans at the IBS Fair in Las Vegas

The NAHB International Builder’s Show is considered the world’s largest construction industry trade fair. It attracts nearly 70,000 visitors from over 100 countries. This year, there was a strong Polish accent among the international exhibitors! Top manufacturers of the Polish interior design industry presented their best projects, including Deftrans – a leading manufacturer of bathroom furniture. The Polish stand attracted a lot of interest, which is evidence of the increasing openness of American customers to European design.

Our company’s participation in this prestigious event was possible thanks to cooperation with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and Encore Gallery – a company based in Chicago, which is the first on the American market to offer modern design materials from Poland and other European countries. They invited top manufacturers of ceramics and bathrooms to create a Polish stand. Deftrans joined forces with brands such as Ceramika Paradyż, Tubądzin, VOX, Maxfliz and Maxlight, creating a unique stand that is a showcase of the best Polish design.

“We wanted the Polish stand to be a testament to the highest class of European craftsmanship, design excellence and innovation. The brands we invited to cooperate are not random – they are leaders and pioneers whose approach to design sets trends and redefines standards of creativity and quality,” says Aleksandra August from Encore Gallery.

Michał Kucharski, Deftrans Export Manager, emphasizes that the stand gained great recognition, which proves the openness of American customers to new stylistic proposals straight from Europe:

– The selection of individual furniture from Deftrans was so well thought out as to maintain the European style of the exhibition and at the same time take into account the preferences of American investors. We presented lacquered furniture, which is not so popular in the States. Our stand stood out with its comprehensive approach to design, presenting the full spectrum of bathroom equipment possibilities – from beautiful, large-format tiles, through various models of fittings, to a wide selection of bathroom furniture.

– Participating in the IBS trade fair was a chance for us to test the possibilities of expanding into the American market, which is completely different from the European one, both in terms of technology and design. Nevertheless, thanks to the trade fair, we managed to establish contacts that may bring promising results, so once again I would like to thank the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and representatives of Encore Gallery for inviting us to participate in this prestigious event – sums up Tomasz Defratyka.

Deftrans’ participation in the IBS trade fair is another step in the continuous development of our company. We are working intensively to strengthen our position in the European arena, while constantly expanding our presence on European markets.
